Nissan launches special edition Sunny XV at Rs.8.6L for Petrol and Rs.9.68L for Diesel

Nissan has launched a special edition for it’s sedan- Sunny in India, in a bid to boost it’s sales. The special edition Sunny XV was first unveiled in a newspaper advertisement  which appeared in the Times of India and now, Nissan has updated just recently updated it’s website, mentioning the pricing and more details about the special edition Sunny, which will go on sale this month.
The special edition Sunny XV comes with a rear parking camera, some extra chrome treatment at the rear and a spoiler. The car remains more-or-less from the inside and the only visible changes come in the form of  leather seats and a 2-DIN touchscreen music system from Kenwood which includes satellite navigation (GPS) and Bluetooth along with USB and DVD. The touchscreen music system will act as the screen for the rear camera.
There are no mechanical changes in the special edition Sunny XV and the car retains the 1.5-litre petrol engine churning out 99bhp and 134Nm torque and the 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that produces 85bhp and 200Nm of torque.
Commenting at the launch of special edition Sunny XV, Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director, sales & marketing of Nissan India / Hover Automotive India said,
Sunny has been a success in India right from the time of its launch in September 2011 and the car has continued to be a popular choice amongst customers in the mid-sized sedan segment.
