South Korean electronics giant LG has
announced a new offering in the Ultrabook market- the U560. Even though
the new Ultrabook maintains the slim and light profile like other in
it’s category, it offers all the features that you would find in a
conventional laptop.
The U560 from LG comes with a 15.6-inch
IPS display meaning that the viewing angles on this Ultrabook would be
quite good. The U560 Ultrabook is powered by Intel’s third-generation
Core i5 3337U processor clocking at 1.8GHz but we aren’t sure about the
size of RAM the the device packs-in but what we do know, is that the
Ultrabook would come along with a dedicated graphics chip.
The new offering from LG would ensure
fast boot up time as it comes with a Solid State Drive SSD (Solid State
Drive) and also, a conventional Hard Disk Drive (HDD) so you won’t have
to worry about the storage on your Ultrabook anymore.
The LG U560 weighs-in at about 1.95Kg
and maintains a slim profile with a thickness of just 20.9mm and even
though with such a profile, LG squeezes-in an Optical Disk Drive on the
Ultrabook, giving you all the features of a traditional laptop. The U560
sports all the standard laptop ports like three USB ports, HDMI port,
wired LAN port, etc.
As of now, the Ultrabook is only
available for sale in South Korea, but we hope than LG plans to bring
the U560 to other markets around the world as well.
