Alcatel has launched the Alcatel OT 5020E a dual core handset and Alcatel OT 4005D single core handset for a price of Rs. 7,499 and 4,499 respectively. The handsets will soon be available in the Indian market.
Alcatel OT 4005D
This handset comes with a 3.5 inch screen with 480×320 pixels resolution. The OT 4005D is 12.2 mm thick. The RAM is 512MB along with 4GB internal storage. This phone runs on the Android 2.3 OS with 1GHz single core processor.
There is 3.2 MP rear camera, the only one (no front camera) that can record 640×480 pixels video at 30fps. I think this handset does not support 3G. Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4, 3.5mm jack and micro USB port. As for GPS I think it supports only via A-GPS (Network based) there is no built in GPS receiver.
