Another Chinese manufacturer JiaYu are planning to set their base in India. The will soon launch new 3 handsets in India for a price tag of Rs. 3000 (single core), Rs. 8000 (dual core) and Rs. 9000 to Rs. 12,000 (quad core).
The quad core model will be called AYU-G4 and will come for a tempting price of Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 12,000. It clearly beats the entire quad core handsets that are yet to be available. Another Chinese brand called the UMI is also setting its base in India.
The JiaYu have recently bought the domain  www.jiayumobiles.com  and have also setup their facebook page at facebook.com/Jiayumobiles. The website is still under construction. We could see more action from these Chinese and Indian brands after the Chinese New Year. The JiaYu company will also open their office in Delhi in March.
The JIAYU G4 handset is listed on their facebook page with interesting specs like 2GB RAM, 4.7 inch IPS screen with Gorilla Glass display, 13MP rear and 3MP front camera, Quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (MT6589 I guess), Duals SIM and with 3000 mAh capacity. The price they mentioned is 9000 INR to 12,000 INR with 2 variants. Stay tuned for more on this.
