Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD the Micromax A116 competitor?
There are however few differences which make Alcatel a better buy than the Micromax A116, well it also depends on how they price it. Another interesting thing is that the One Touch Scribe HD is slimmer than A116. Scribe is 8.5mm thick whereas the Canvas HD (A116) is 10.7mm thick. The Alcatel HD handset is also available in many colours like pure white, flash yellow, black and flash red.
The Scribe HD sports a 5 inch TFT touch screen with 1280×720 pixels resolution (16M colours). The handset weighs 135 grams and supports dual SIM. It runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (probably similar to what is being used on the Micromax A116).
Other features are Wi-Fi, 3G (42Mbps), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB and 3.5mm jack. There is an 8MP rear AF camera with LED flash and a front 1.3MP camera. Videos can be recorded at 1080p resolution at 30fps, the front camera can record at 720p resolution.
There is 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage (1GB for apps and 1GB as internal storage). Micro SD up to 32GB is supported. The battery is of a higher capacity at 2500 mAh with over 200 hours of standby time and over 5 hours of talktime. The battery can get fully charged in about 2.5 hours.
