The DOMO nTice F12 is another MediaTek powered dual core handset with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. This handset sports a 5.2 inch screen and comes with 8MP rear camera. The F12 is priced at Rs. 8,900.

The dual SIM / dual standby handset is 12mm thick and weighs about 199 grams. There are 4 touch buttons on the front side. The handset feels bulky and there is a lot of space around the usable screen. Moreover the width is about 3.3inches that makes it difficult to handle. The handset doesn’t look that attractive. It’s an old design (reminded me of theKarbonn A30 handset). The flip cover does add a little bit of premium touch to the device.

There is LED notification, but it doesn’t blink. There is a light, G-sensor and proximity sensor.

Of the 4GB internal storage 503MB is assigned for apps of which 426MB is available to the users. The internal phone storage space is 2.05GB with 2.04GB available. There is an option to set the preferred install location to external SD card, however the apps get stored only on the internal storage. The handset comes with 512MB RAM with around 200MB available.

You cannot install apps or move apps to external storage. So you are limited to the 2GB space on the internal storage. This is good enough for many users and even gaming users can install games not more than 1.9GB.

The nTice F12 cannot play full HD videos (1080p). I tried that using MX player. 720p videos worked well.

The loudspeaker and in call speaker is clear and loud enough. The performance is good; I did not find any lags. 3G, built in Wi-Fi and GPS works pretty well. Native video calling is supported.

2500 mAh Battery
The battery of 2500 mAh gives a good usage time. It will easily last for near about 2 days of moderate usage with 3G on 24/7.

The benchmark scores are slightly better than the other MediaTek handset with the same hardware. The score is better probably because of the Jelly Bean OS. The handset is priced at Rs. 8,900 with free screen guard and flip cover.

The nTice F12 is bulky and looks almost like the Karbonn A30 5.9 inch handset. The performance is good but the handset is heavy and handling may not be comfortable for many users.
