BMW 1-series to be launched in India tomorrow
The BMW 1-series F20 will finally make an entry onto the Indian shores tomorrow. The entry-level hatchback, the plans of which were confirmed earlier this year by BMW India boss Philip Von Sahr, will compete against the likes of the Mercedes Benz A- and B-class and the Volvo V40 Cross Country.

The BMW 1-series is expected to available in two variants – the 116i (petrol) and the 118d (diesel). The petrol 1er uses a 1.6-litre four cylinder engine that puts out 136 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque; while the 1-series diesel uses a 2.0-litre four cylinder engine that produces 143 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. Both the engines are not only more powerful than their rivals, but they are also mated to a rear-wheel drive system that ensures more driving fun. The BMW 1-series is expected to start under Rs 22 lakh.

Stay tuned as we bring you all the info on the BMW and the live updates from tomorrow’s launch.
