Acer Introduces 15.6-inch Aspire R7 Ultrabook/Tablet Hybrid 

 

PC-manufacturer Acer has announced it’s new Aspire R7 Ultrabook-cum-Tablet hybrid at an event in New York City, and the device features a cutting-edge design, unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. 

The Acer Aspire R7 features a beautiful 15.6-inch 1080p touchscreen display, and can be configured to powered by the Intel Core i5 ot i7 processors, with an option of up to 12GB of RAM. You also get the option of a 1TB HDD or a 256GB SSD. 

The device features a full-sized backlit keyboard, and to enhance the audio capabilities of the device, it features Dolby Home Theater on board with four 8 watt speakers. For connectivity, the Acer Aspire R7 gets an HDMI out port, a memory card reader, three USB ports, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and audio jacks.

While you may feel that the specifications of the device are nothing extraordinary, the real ‘revolution’ lies in the design of Acer Aspire R7, which gets an “Ezel Hinge”, that allows the screen to be placed flat or float above the keyboard. You can even flip the screen at the back, to make it face away from the keyboard.
